Interesting facts
I am learning so much about cocktail recipes, mixers, and all manner of refreshing summer beverages that we can make from my present range of fruity flavors. Every day is a learning curve and I am so happy that the word is spreading. I am receiving so many requests for information from around the globe, I really think this wine has “legs.”
Traveling wine
A friend of mine who was in Texas recently took bottle of wine back to England for a gift for a young lady in Clacton, in the South of England. I hear that she was delighted with the unexpected bottle of Abbey Road Apple wine, particularly as she is a huge Paul McCartney fan, and the word is spreading about these delicious beverages, I am hoping that it won’t be long before we have distribution in the United Kingdom and can spread the love over there, and in turn, make sales that will turn into some donations to the Linda McCartney Breast Cancer Research Centre at The Royal Liverpool Hospital in my home town.

Ever wondered what pairing high tea with wine would taste like?
Well, that's the idea behind Mrs. Angie McCartney's Wines, a vino that rolled out of the Houston area on June 25. Paul McCartney's stepsister, Ruth, and stepmother, Angie, teamed up with with Kemah vintner David Skinner of Clear Creek Vineyards to create the label. The vino comes in five different flavors — Strawberry Fields is one — and retails for about $22 a bottle. Ten percent of the gross proceeds will go toward the Linda McCartney Centre in Liverpool.
